heggedear
Hello from Germany. In my 110 from 1986 somebody built in an 2.5 n/A diesel engine from Leyland DAF. Since last year i had 3 times big problems with leaky, broken injector pipes. The vibrations from the running engine made them weak. The previous owner forget to fix those clips for eleminate vibrations. So now i ordered new pipes from a german version of allmakes, or paddock. That " land rover "pipes they sent me are bend in the right way, but nearly 10 cm to long. And this company know no other possibility. I think Leyland - Daf took the diesel injection pump a little more higher than Land rover. Where can i find the right pipes in England. For any help I say thank you. 101sean
On the sherpa version of the engine the pump is located slightly differently, hence your pipes wont fit. Can't suggest where to get pipes but a search on google.co.uk for LDV and Sherpa may turn up something.
Les Henson
The only place you are likely to get the Sherp injector pipes from is a dealer, so expect to have to sell the house/your soul/the kids, to pay for them. I would bend the ones you have been supplied with to fit. They are copper-coated steel, so be careful not to kink them. Les.
