Soft/Sinking Clutch Pedal

Recommended Posts

In the last couple of days I've noticed that on occasion my clutch pedal will easily depress two thirds of the way down with little to no pressure before becoming firm. If I disengage and re-engage it feels normal? A new clutch, pressure plate, bearing, surface flywheel and a slave seal kit was installed less than a year ago between the 2.5na/LT77 and there is only a couple of kilometers on the whole thing. I have no idea of the age of the master cylinder which is full and is not leaking but looks very clean.

Any ideas on what this might be?

Cheers

Chris

In a word - seals. If I were you I would replace both master and slave cylinders.
