rekab69
Hi all, Now it's really nice and dark outside on these long Winter nights... I would like my interior light to come on when I open my doors... It works when switched on manually but not when the doors open... Which postion should the switch be in to allow them to come on...? I know the door switches are ok, just wondering on the wiring to the switch...?? how many wires should there be going to the back of the switch and any ideas on their colours / postions...? Or any ideas what else to check...? Cheers Dave...
western
top of the switch should be in for the door switches to operate the interior light. the wires to the switch should be in a pre wired plastic connector block that only fits one way. LandyManLuke
Before you dive in, be aware that the light switch works on the ground side of the lamp. The lamp is fed a fused constant 12v. The switch either earths it directly, not at all, or through one/many door pin(s).
