Rear wiper motor

IS it the same as a disco 1 - lots of those on ebay but no defender. Mines not here and want to replace it?

No Defender & Discovery use different rear wiper motors, LR part numbers don't match across the vehicles parts list.

depending on the chassis number

from chassis MA965106 use AMR3676

upto chassis MA965105 use AMR1054 [Delco make] or PRC4612 [imos make]

if it's just very slow try WD40 down the sides of the wiper drive shaft, worked for mine.

I fitted a Disco 1 wiper motor to mine, the motor is the same, swapped the mounting brackets and modified the spindle to fit the door. My original motor had seized solid from filling with water. Cost £19 off ebay.
