simon red90
ok, so i was out at kirton on suday just. i go to spool out the front winch and it does nothing, just spins the motor. 2nd attempt and all the brake is spat off the side. shearing the end bolt. looking at it, the splined cam (which is warn part no 7562) has smashed to pieces. taking the mainshaft bush and seal with it. my winch is running a 12v bowmotor, has the uprated mainshaft on it already, and a narrow diameter drum. also it is only just a year old. i've got no problems replacing broken parts but i'd rather know a reason for part failure before i do to prevent future failures! has anyone else had such a problem or was my wich put together with plasticene not metal?! cheers. si
