SeriousIIa
I've broken my left front heavy duty blue bearmach spring. (the lowest ring broke off) It's only half a year old and has covered 15.000 km. Broke it on my trip to Dakar and came back driving on the broken spring. Will replace it soon. But what do you think, will this be a guarantee fix? Or just buy a set of new ones? I'm curious what you guys think. Will call the reseller tomorrow, he was close for the christmas holiday..... Cheers Bowy

Jos
The Sale of Goods Act 1979 is your friend - items sold must be fit for the purpose they were sold for. http://www.dti.gov.uk/consumers/buying-sel...t/page8600.html When it says quickly it means quickly after the fault is apparent - there's no specigfic limitation period liek a 12 month manuf's guarantee... tuko
ONLY a half year old spring! Where has the blue paint gone? What is it replaced with? Yupp, I'd be asking for a replacement or cash back. Todd.
jules
They do look rough for six months only I sold a set that were three years old and after a pressure wash were still 80% blue.... Go and talk to them I would have though if you have the receipt they will happily swap or refund you and they will have like everything a 12 month guarantee
SeriousIIa
Got the spring replaced today, no difficult questions asked! Great service. I know OME is better, but have been riding bearmach for years and never had problems and best bang for bucks I think.... Cheers Bowy
kkk2
If I'm not mistaken Bearmach springs are made by Lovells in Australia, they would be rated up there with OME stuff.
