goaty
Hi, I think my a frame ball joint needs changing but am unsure. When on motorways/dual carriageways when accelerating then backing off to change gear or just backing off the power, the car has a little unsteadyness to it. Near enough all bushes have been replaced recently apart from the a frame, that untouched. Can anyone tell me if i am guessing right or not??? thanks joe

101sean
When they get bad they usually clonk as you go on and off the throttle.
robhybrid
Just double check all your track rod ends and the tightness of the bolts to the front pan had rod. I have had similar symptoms when the pan had rod was slightly loose, a mate of mine had similar symptoms when his drop arm track rod end had worn slightly.
