sotal
I keep getting a puddle on the load cover, I put this down to Alpine Windows or Rear Sunroof (which it still might be) but I noticed today that it seems to be coming in through the top of the rear door, the seal isn't sealing. What's the general advice for stopping water coming in from there?
cipx2
The general advice would be to read the tech bulletin issued by LR on the issue of water ingress a.k.a. "Discovery Water Ingress Manual". Check the Tech Archive Index, Manuals section, for a link to it. A more specific advice would be to check/replace the seal, check/adjust the tailgate or both. TheRecklessEngineer
I find parking it under cover stops all the water leaks in mine....

First_Fleet
In the meantime, try driving with the fresh air open & fan on to slightly pressurise the interior.
enduro1972uk
I took the horrors when mine decided to leak in. I spoke to a main Landrover Dealership and guesss what that!!! "they do that" is what they said!!! I have however smeared vaseline on all the seals etc and it has worked so far.

What's the general advice for stopping water coming in from there? Buy a Honda! I had a puddle on my load cover the other day, gale force wind + heavy rain. No sunroof and no water marks from the Alpine lights. It was parked tail on to the prevailing wind. Somebody on the forum has a signature that reads somethink like "if it doesn't leak take it back because it isn't a Land Rover". That's why my other car is a Honda

Orgasmic Farmer
If anyone might be interested i have a very good rear door seal in the shed going wanting. These aren't available anymore IIRC so if anyone wants it buy me a couple of beers (£5) and pay the postage and its yours)
cipx2
Only the colored ones aren't available no more. I've explained here: http://forums.lr4x4.com/index.php?showtopic=18469 Since it's the same part as on D2, they will available at least till 2015. But your offer is unbeatable, unless you decide to give up on beer and give the seal for free
