jas97disco
Hi all , can anyone advise on when I should next change the timing belt on a 97 300TDi auto. Changed it at 66k Miles (no yellow square so assuming they didn't fit the revised pulley kit) and its now at 118K, so current belts done 52K miles). Many Thanks - Jason
Oliver
Howdy, I would say it would be time to do it again and check that the lower pulley has the 'lip' on it to prevent the belt running off etc.
Les Henson
Depends on how you are using it - towing, off-road, etc means it should be changed at 36k miles. Better sooner than later anyway. Les.
