LDRover
Hi, My starting problem looks like a bad connection on one of the fused links. Can anyone tell me if I can replace it with a normal fuse and if so what rating it should be. Thanks.
BogMonster
I guess you should be able to buy the fusible links - it is basically just a big fuse so in theory could replace it with anything of the same rating. Which one is it / can you post a pic?
LDRover
Land Rover are saying £104 + VAT for the kit, will try and post a picture later but not much of it left. I think that it is for the Alarm and Central locking. They have stopped work at the same time I could not start it.
lynall
I would just fit an inline waterproof fuse holder and fuse and try a 10amp fuse to start with. Lynall
LDRover
Here is the photo of the problem link. Looking at the black wire that was used, I think it is about 8 amps so will fit a fuse holder tonight.
