The Badger
For which ECU? Sorry to jump in, but if you know of where I can find one for a 07 90 ECU that would be grand. Want to bring the ECU into the cab so it's a bit more water proof.

Guest diesel_jim
You can buy the extension looms from dastec suppliers (dare i mention them.... scrapiron) but Allisport do them too, probably cheaper as well! or you could buy the plugs and make your own

FridgeFreezer
Depending how much it is a ready-made one may be more economical, for plugs try RS Components. You could always be a total barbarian and just chop the loom about 1' back from the ECU and get the solder & heat-shrink out.
SteveG
anyone know where you can buy the plugs from? seems silly paying through the nose for a ready made set. cheapest place I found was here.. Vems shop by looms, plus pcb connector. straighten pins on pcb connector and solder on 72 times and then encase pcb connector in resin. It will still cost ~90 in parts Cheers Steve
smo
Are there any online suppliers of TD5 extensions, i'm not a fan of places that dont put prices on their sites!
Guest diesel_jim
Frogs island sell the Dastek extension loom. slightly cheaper from here too, as most places charge £200, here you save a tenner!
smo
Thanks Jim - still a rather large chunk of money!
Speedy_Gonzales
Thanks Jim - still a rather large chunk of money! Agreed! I've been looking for a kit for my 2000 TD5 I've heard that sealing the ECU in a box and then using a breather to reduce condensation might be the way forward... Has anyone gone down this route? Would be intrested to know further....
