Fatboy
Evening all, I'm in the midst of building the rolling chassis, axles, steering & gearbox done. I placed the gearbox onot the chassis and then noticed the handbrake linkage mount on the chassis is different to the one on the old chassis.... The old one is the pivot which bolts to the chassis. Whereas the new one looks like: Now, I have not seen this before and it ain't the same as the one on my Rangie so anybody got any ideas how I can get the bits to couple it up? Thanks,
rtbarton
Does this help The vertical rod you can see connects with the handbrake lever. I've not seen one like your original type before! Only one of the holes is used for the pivot shaft, the other is spare
Betsy
The original in your pic, that bolts to the chassis is a Series 2a chassis type, same as mine, 1966 suffix C. The new chassis is Series 3 type. Just go and buy the S3 bolt, bush and arm.
