I'm looking to buy a new air rattle gun as the old one is stuffed, it's...well it was a Machine mart special :D

never been over impressed with it for torque, so is it worth me spending more and getting something like an Ingersoll rand/SIP or another reccomended make...

are they all of a muchness or do you get what you pay for ?

the compressor is a 200 litre, 14 CFM so airs not to much of a problem

I;ve got a CP one - brilliant.

Had a machine mart one before - it wouldnt even undo car wheelnuts!

You get what you pay for, ingersoll rand, CP, some snap on are all ok. Avoid anything that costs less than £50 retail, and anything made by SIP, draper etc etc. Look at the torque figures - you need to look for 450ft/lb as a minium for a 1/2" drive.
