MarkParm
My instrument lights on my 1984 110 stopped working. I pulled the instrument panel out and hooked some power to the wire and they all lit up nicely. Turned the headlight switch on the truck and checked the power feed to the lights and there's nothing. All my fuses look to be intact and well connected. Does this lead me to the headlight switch? I had a quick look at it and there were no loose wires. Any suggestions? and does anyone have know which fuse is for what in an 84 110 formerly 2.25 petrol? The truck didn't come with a fuse panel cover. western
check the interior light switch to the right of the steering wheel, the early ones also controlled the dash gauge lighting, make sure the top of the rocker switch is in & your gauge lights should be on. if you move it to the centre position the interior light should come on & then move it to the bottom position interior light & dash gauge lights are off. the picture below is from my 1989 110 fuse panel. Andy_LR90
This forum is Great! just had same problem as you, with instrument lights, did a search on here and bingo, check the switch! I'd never have thought as all my previous experience is with military vehicles.
