madne55 Posted March 11, 2008 Share Posted March 11, 2008 Evenin all... a small query re: the landy which has not yet been delivered to me (being rebuilt) so i wanna get a stereo installed... lights red. dashboard lights green. simple.. can i change that green to red? or shud i get a green lit headunit in the first place? i read on forums where ppl replaced the white bulbs with red leds and they claim it works fine.. however im curious as to what happens to the green filter thingy that makes the light green in the first place... does i t end up looking greenish red or what? =/ any info wud b appreciated.. and sorry for the noob question. rgds aLaN Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

simonr Posted March 11, 2008 Share Posted March 11, 2008 If you particularly want red dash lights - then changing the bulbs for red LEDs works fine. I think it looks lousy though on the one I've seen. It's unusual to fins a head unit these days where ther is not a menu option to change between red and green (and often Yellow, Orange and Blue).
