JeffR
It is entirely POSSIBLE to waterproof all the seals/gutters etc in a Landrover to prevent water ingress, if enough sealer is used. However, you will find that, should this process be carried out fully, that entry to the said vehicle can only be made using a Stanley knife...... No, but I have undersealed my head to the floor pan of a Morris Minor using a tar/black flexible kevlar/superglue/contents of a babies nappy based stuff on permanent loan from what was BR (mate was a fitter there), oh and I welded my steel toe cap to a Mk 11 Escort doing the strut towers (why use g-clamp when a sturdy boot is always on hand, so to speak). Who said life has to be boring?
