JST Posted December 6, 2005 Share Posted December 6, 2005 Ralph, Hows the GKN going with the 255/85s fitted? apart from reduced rpm and road noise has your economy changed much? do you use it as a splitter gear or just a 6th gear? western Posted December 6, 2005 Share Posted December 6, 2005 Working fine after a settling in fault, had to change the soleniod as it was sticking, I use the o/d as a splitter & 6th gear, it pulls well in 4th & 5th od, I have to change down on long/steep hills, not done much fuel comparisons yet, but seems to be using less, 110 is a fair bit quieter and nicer to drive.
