Philip Tonkin
I have heard of a few people fitting RRC handbrakes to defenders. I would like to free up some space in my footwell. I am a little worried about making any massive modifications so something bolt-on ideally. Does the MOT specify how accessable it must be? western
must be within drivers reach while wearing a seat belt, but other than that I haven't seen any other reason. here's a RRC handbrake fitted to a 110 by the cubbybox. http://www.reedx.net/landrover/mods/handbrake/index.htm I like mine as is
mmgemini
As one of those handbrakes are from my Defender.. There's not a lot of modificatin to do. Two holes to be drilled and one hole to be covered. I no longer leave my handbrake off at traffic lights and certain junctions because I had the len forward to reach it. It's there at my hand when needed. Should you be at Driffield this weekend come and have a look .... mike A leopard can change its spots.
