Really? Pictures? :)

Can't help with the question tho...

Yep, he's serious. Same mould as DiscoDino :D

Welcome to LR4x4 Jay. I think as you've been advised elsewhere you may have to build your own or import an SD cage.

Pics would be good though, something for the rest of us to aspire too.

Also the Co. that had a defender on its roof at Billing this year do an internal one but can't remember their name... grrrr

Oh, and it wasn't Safety Devices

I think that was Protection and Performance/ Evans uk (Evansuk)

Have a look on their web page there is an internal competition cage and also an external front hoop cage.

They also make this copyfullexternaldisco_737-copy.jpg

but i dont think their site has been updated recently.

Yes 36" on a Disco I body lift/flared and 3" OME lift that's it

Of course an heavy duty drivetrain is a must or you will be breaking stock rover diffs and axles by the minute

Can't figue out how to post some pics on this site .....

Some pics on www.discoweb.org

try ebay item number: 4610388425 !

Got one very much like that in my Disco. A days work to fit. Probably easier in a 5dr.

Can't tell from photos if that one has a cross brace behind the driver or not, should do, ad says it's camel trophy spec. Anyway cross brace makes back seats pretty much un-useable.

Small update:

Drivetrain: Ordered the underdrive from Ashcroft (thanks Dave), located a 4 belt 4.2, a matching 4.2 ZF, stock LT230 & will need to plumb in a Merc Benz truck's auto cooler+fan & a custom mount for a BIG ASS hydro pump.

Body: Decided to re-use the albine windows for the sides and a Golf Rabbit Mark 1 rear flat window with regulator. Stock dash and heater remain (no budget to go custom gauges and all for now) with internal "mini-cage" for seats and harness

Everything else (i.e. whatever is left) - remains as is.
