MogLite
I'm gonna try and do an air-actuated PTO lever. I've got myself a suitable cylinder - dual action, which I assume will push and pull. As far as I can tell, there are just two ports on the cylinder - a push and a pull. I want a spool valve that is detent'd so that one position is PTO engaged, and the other is dis-engaged But the spool valves make no sense to me, 2 position detent I've got, but 3 ports/ 5 ports I've got no idea. I can get this range local from Hypose Can anyone tell me which one I need, and why ? I need to do the lockers on the 'Mog axles in a similar way, so I might as well get my head around the pneumatics stuff.

LR90
5 Port / 2 Way. Air in on one port and depending on position (2 pos) directed down one of the two pipes to your actuator. The unpressurised pipe will be connected by the switch to either of the last two ports to let it exhaust.

FridgeFreezer
Andy, I have some blingy pneumatic porn catalogues at home from these people: www.westgroup.co.uk they do some very nice valves that look like normal electrical switches. I'll bring them along to the next club meet unless you want them sooner for some reading during the Queen's Christmas Message?
Bush65
As above, you will want 2/5 valve. Spool valves are not the best for pneumatics though. Better to use poppet type valves with rubber seats.
