brent Posted December 22, 2005 Share Posted December 22, 2005 Hi All I have a 300tdi Discovery ES Premium, the problem is this, it starts and runs fine for about 2 miles then a fuse blows (satilite 1 fuse no3 engine managment) this cuts the engine which must be the fuel solonoid, all the ignition lights are on except the glow plug light. Once the fuse has been changed it fires up ok and runs ok for a short time then fuse blows again! have put a new glow plug relay/timer on with no effect. western Posted December 22, 2005 Share Posted December 22, 2005 Examine the fuel shut-off soleniod cable, the terminal coonection may need replacing & the cable goes hard & can split, could be it's shorting out on the block & blowing the fuse.
