kingdong Posted June 27, 2008 Share Posted June 27, 2008 Hi all does anyone now if there is a pulley that fits a series alternator that will take a thicker fan belt as i want to fit my pretty new series alternator to my disco 200 tdi engine that will be fitted to the series alternator bracket using metric bolts and spaces. i have got it all fitted and lined up with the std pulley on but the rest of the other pulleys are made to take a thicker belt the alternator in question is a 70 amp. cheers graham. s11a swb bronze green. kingdong Posted June 29, 2008 Author Share Posted June 29, 2008 its ok i have managed to mod the disco alternator bracket. it turns out that the alternator i bought for the series is the same type as the disco alternator. so if the alternator that came with the engine works ok i now have 2 and have one as a spare. graham. s11a swb bronze green.
