Tomas4x4 Posted June 30, 2008 Share Posted June 30, 2008 I can hear a loud click clacking sound from the front of my 96 300tdi discovery, sounds like its coming from the o/s/f wheel, its not the brakes as ive just changed them, could this be a bearing, or even worse inside the axle? Les Henson Posted July 1, 2008 Share Posted July 1, 2008 I would say CV joint too. You should change it asap - if the joint breaks up, the bits might jam the steering at a very inconvenient moment.
