mad_pete
My EFI seems to take a big gasp of air when I undo the fuel cap. Is that normal or am I a breather short of a fuel system ? If I do need a breather where is a good place to plumb it in ? I seem to remember range rover tanks have about 4 feeds but my landie tank only has 2. paul stage1v8
early RR only had one breather but they were a vented system, later ones are connected to a charcoal canister and that is valved to the intake, so any vapours are sucked in and burnt rather than released to the atmosphere. FridgeFreezer
Unless you plumbed a vapour tank in with the build, you need a breather. If you plumbed a vapour tank in, ditch it and fit a breather The breather needs to be open to the top of the tank really, and you probably want a rollover shutoff valve in it they're about £12 from Think Automotive.
