Aggieturbo
Hi All, I've bought the fuseholders from VWP to convert from glass to blade fuses, but note that the fuse ratings don't match up exactly. Should I be going to the next value up or down? Thanks, Tony
FridgeFreezer
Depends on the circuit really, glass fuses are carp so buying an assortment of blades and starting with the next one down could be a reasonable prospect.
Aggieturbo
Thanks, Seems reasonable as long as i carry a few spares around for a while!
Spectric
Hi there All you need to remember is that the fuse protects the wiring and not what is on the end of it. The idea is that if there was a dead short at the farthest end then the fuse should melt and not the wire.
