Steve Warman Posted July 19, 2008 Share Posted July 19, 2008 Hi, I've got myself a second hand voltmeter so I can keep an eye on my battery as it only does short runs. Now for the tricky part, can someone tell me a good place to wire it into? I'm going to mount it somewhere along the dash so I can get to the wiring behind the binnacle easily. western Posted July 19, 2008 Share Posted July 19, 2008 the voltmeter will need a earth connection, gauge illumination to existing gauges, take a power feed from any white wire off the ignition switch or the cluster of white wires behind the instrument pack, or take the power straight off the battery +ve terminal & through a relay connected like this [how I've connected my 2nd voltmeter for my winch battery] Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
