Chris Rogers
Trying to work out where my 300tdi is leaking oil from, ( think it would be easier to work out where it isn't coming from) Seems to be coming from the larger braided hose that comes from the turbo. Is it common for the hose to leak? or is it likely to be another component above the hose? If it is the hose, is it a big job to replace? If anyone has a part number for it too that'd be great. Thanks in advance Chris
western
probably the rubber hose inside is breaking down, should be fairly easy to swap. but check the turbo oil feed pipe on top is not leaking. turbo oil drain hose is LR part ERR4895 item 12 on diagram. I'll get a new hose ordered and see if that cures the problem. And see if I can work out how to fit the new one!
