nas90
We promised someone a small T shirt and had too much beer and vodka and cider to remember where to send it in Belgium so please let me know.......I'm trying to persuade Si to have some more Xeng keyrings made, the ones with the bottleopener and spanner bits. He's trying to persuade me to buy a range rover sport. Watch this space to see who caves in first. Sarah Sarah, just email me for some %34911, should arrive before the Sport
FridgeFreezer
Just as we were leaving, Fridge allegedly pressed the loud pedal and allegedly tried to do donuts... I can't have been going fast though, beardy said "you never go anywhere fast in a Series", must've been a trick of the light Doing donuts was tempting but I suspect we'd never be asked back twas just a slip of the throttle pedal, honest! landroversforever
ahh...they should make the arena bigger next year... so fridge can do donuts
Mo Murphy
I have been trying to talk you out of your T-shirt for years and yet one little boy, you give in right away. Phooey! muddy
I think john just sneezed accidentaly brushing the throttle pedal breifly causing his 109 to go sideways with rooster tails, it certainly made 'buster' look like the pile of exercise it is afterwards tho, if only lennox had taken more 'interest' in mr thurston
FridgeFreezer
ahh...they should make the arena bigger next year... so fridge can do donuts If you'd like to draft a nicely worded letter to the organisers asking for the classically restored Series to be given more time in the arena I'd be happy to oblige I'd sure Rich, Jules and Jez would join in although I'm not sure there'd be much arena left afterwards. Ced
Indeed, we had lots of fun !!! Mouse was verry impressive. I was also impressed that it took so long before Jim's truck rolled ........... Concerning the beer, loading all those barrels back in the van wasn't so good for my back @ Hendrik, who know's where we show up next year, will it be my feet in mud or yours in dust

Funny that, whilst at Billing chatting on the Shires stand we were on the subject of waffle boards to which I commented that's a good name for an O/T Forum should the powers that be decide to have one! So what about the Waffle Forum for O/T subjects and other chit chat John

FridgeFreezer
Apologies if the Shire stand was overly popular - Mouse got 40,000 views on this forum so parking it on our stand was going to attract a fair few forumers.
simonr
Just about finished our move now! Sitting here enjoying a nice bedtime bottle of Hobgoblin! The best bit for me was undoubtably sitting in Mouse and revving the engine! It made a beautiful noise. I just wish I was small enough to be able to drive it - it certainly wanted to go! It's just about as close to eng-porn as it gets for me - although the D&G trucks gave me very similar feelings . The worst bit was trying to get out of Mouse. Zuz said "just slide out" but she must bend is some very different places to me! I thought the security inside the concentration camp was pretty good - but outside it looked a bit thin on the ground. My sympathy goes to all the people had stuff stolen - it's just not necessary and has obviously spoiled their holiday. Jez - I'm sure you can fabricate some much 'cooler' (in a heath robinson kind of way) 'shades' than the ones you lost. The image I have in my mind is quite funny! - see, there's always a silver lining! Si

Turbocharger
Does anyone have video of the Shires arena spectacle? Stuff may have gone missing around the site, but there was a remote control floating around loose inside the Judge Dredd 101 that I chucked forward into the cab before someone could have it away. Did anyone see the hubs on the Shaun the Sheep LR? There were a number of bits on the car which had been tweaked to make it look like the cartoon, but it also had six-stud hubs on what looked like standard LR axles / swivels. Anyone know any more?
