Guest diesel_jim Posted July 21, 2008 Share Posted July 21, 2008 sounds like you've got a late engine with the digital FIP... this has a 3 pin plug on the pump (as you've seen) which just controlls the cut-out solenoid. i'm 99.9% sure if you remove that you can install a "normal" 12v plunger type solenoid, which will then just need a 12v supply to run it.
