rear corner windows replacement

Recommended Posts

The rear glass is held in by the rubbers. I replaced mine with ali plate, but the method will be the same for perspex - cut the rubber down to fit the new opening, lay a cord around the rubber inside the channel, insert the perspex into the rubber then gently pully the cord out and it will bring the front lip of the rubber with it. Even though in my case the ali was a lot thinner than the glass it replaced, I had no prblems with leaks or vibrations. If you are concerned you can always bed the perspex in silicone or similar.
