Hi,

I am running these .. you will need at least a 2" lift .. Major cutting of arches and bodywork, extended bump stops, Spacers / big offset wheels to maintain any sort of turning circle.

Your gearing will also be shot all over the place and you'll be revving the pantys off of it to maintain speed up long gradients.

But for off-roading they are great .. lots of rubber.

I had a head on collision with an escort, directly hit my passenger tyre. It stayed intact on the rim and just bounced me up onto the bonnet of the escort.

Love them tyres ! I'll try to find a pic ...

If so can I ask how much of a lift you have , and using what items?

also any pictures of arch clearances etc?

hi ya... this was mine.

3" lift on the front........4" on the rear.

roccia arches....... with alot of metal cut out of the body

33" tyres with Gwyn Lewis wide offset wheels

and they still used to catch on articulation.

How do you mean a lot of metal cut out of the body?

patrick is right.......... you cut a good couple of inches out around the wheel arches, this in turn causes other issues..... for me i had to shorten the jackable sills and you also need to fabricate something to stop all the mud flying up the inside of the bodywork as the plastic arch liners need to come out.

even worse if its a 5dr........ doing a 5dr RRC this weekend so ill take some piccies.

So with all the work thats needed to make running 33's possible, is it worth it? Reason I ask is because I really fancy a set of 33" Kl71's but have been offered 5 265/75 Wrangler MT's, 1 month old, on modulars for really good money.

Do I take the 265's with a minimal chop (Got +2" already) or go for 33's and have to chop my back doors to bits???

Stu.
