D9OSV
I think this is the one that Richard Ibberson wants to do (Been pestering me about doing it ) I will be speaking to him next week, i will ask if it is him. @ Jez: You are right it is more of a Safari than anything, but it does look a lot of fun Jim

Yes it is the one richard is interested in, its not him who is going though, he's looking at next year i think Looks very good, a chance of a life time to go offroading in that part of the world. The big support truck looks cool too
søderberg
Hallo. Ive done the AT 2 times, 07 and 08. This year there was a englishman with a polish name there. He was driving a white Tomcat and there was a polish man there with Orange rover. The race is a trohpy race and that is the same deal as ladoga, distances and rules are the same. The 2 and 3 ss are kind of tuff, beacuse there is virgin balota (marsh, bog) so they thougt those 2 ss are harder than Ladoga but the rest of the ss are not that tecnical but we drive fast for 60km on rocks that are same size as basketballs, and thats even harder for the car than the balota. And there are some watercrossings and bogs and stuff like that. I think if your are doing a race like AT ore Ladoga the people working as a team are more important than the car, you have to fix the car, make food, put up tents even when you are dead tired and just want to sleep and postpone the car reapeir to the next day but the start is 6 a clock. Jonas Team ashtung auto Norway 1st place in AT 08 but if you look with russian eyes we got second. THE CRAZY NORWEIGANS I hope the english man (Jerzy) can explain more fore you, becuase he done Ladoga an AT.
