Fatboy
Hi, I've fitted various different sets of shocks over the years, always fitted them "dry and cleaned the cups out (if fitted). However, the rubber bushes on my old LSE didn't seem to last an awful long time... So, it set me to wondering if they would last better if they were greased on assembly? (With a rubber friendly grease of course). One of the con's would be that I suppose they may catch grit... I've had a rummage and can't find anything that says its a good idea, which I suppose means it probably isn't! Anybody got any thoughts? steve_d
Can't think of anything that would lub it without attracting all the muck apart from talcum powder but that would not last five minutes. Steve
