draper40
Hey, I bought a new radiator to replace my manked version but the new one's fill plug(?) seems to extrude further than the old one and so it causes interference with the intercooler, meaning that the two won't fit together in the frame. Any ideas? Thanks Pete
western
chuck the plastic plug & fit a brass one or even better one of X-eng's alloy ones.
draper40
It currently has a metal one which it came with, could be brass but can't be sure as it is painted black. The problem isn't the plug itself, but the threaded in bit as well!
western
sounds like the threaeded adaptor has been fitted to far out if it's touching the intercooler.

western
I would ring the supplier first & check that they will change it for one thats a better fit, don't know who you got it from, if not local then getting to check for yourself to do a comparison will be a bit awkward.
