smo
A Collegue at work has a TD4 freelander - she's noticed recently upon startup it has a very lumpy idle - to the point you can feel it moving the car and it is clearly visible from outside too, she has also found its become sluggish on takeoff from standing, although runs fine and performance is good when moving. Is there anything obvious/common that would cause this?
andyb
Sticking or stuck injector? Either not opening enough but only noticable at idle or sticking open and dripping diesel over night/while stopped. Just my thoughts, I've no experience so this engine. JimAttrill
Glow plugs - they stay on after the engine has started until it reaches a set temp.
andyb
@Jim, so are you saying one or more glow plugs is not coming on?
