Jens
My starter is beginning to act weird lately. If I leave my Defender standing for 2 days or more it won't start. Like it's stuck or something, because it doesn't even crank when I turn to key. But if I crawl under it and give the starter a good whack with the handle of a screwdriver, it starts like nothing was wrong. It have done it twice now. If it's just overnight, there is nothing wrong. Only thing I can think of, is to replace the contacts in the starter solenoid. Any other suggestions? JimAttrill
That will do. Otherwise fit a recon unit.
BogMonster
Check this if you haven't already found it http://forums.lr4x4.com/index.php?showtopic=12088 You could always set up a hinged hammer operated by a piece of string
