V8 Dizzy 35dm8 testing on the bench?

Hi all,

Just going through my collection of bits, found a 35DM8 dizzy, I think this is the one which goes to the remote amplifier, question is how can I test its a good un off the bench?

Ive placed my multi meter on the wires and spun the dizzy, the meter does register RPM and it varies correctly (used a power drill to spin it).

Is there any other tests which can be done?

Thanks

Roger
