GANDY Posted August 21, 2008 Share Posted August 21, 2008 My year 2000 4.6 Vogue has been giving me trouble with its central locking. 1/ the tailgate would sometimes refuse to open. 2/ the door locks would occasionally lock and unlock, several times, when in motion. With thanks to several forum sites, I have replaced the driver's door locking mechanism module and cured the problem. The task took me about an hour (from start to finish) since it required a fair amount of articulation to connect various rods and cables etc. The LandRover part number is FQJ 103260 and cost me £145 in tax.
