kingdong Posted August 24, 2008 Share Posted August 24, 2008 Hi all just a thought as i haven't taken any measurments but is it possible to fit a smaller cooling fan of another vehicle to the water pump of a 200 tdi fitted into a s11a i no you are soposed to fit an electric fan but i thought i would ask. graham. Hi there will be vey little room between the w/pump pulley and the rad if you've used the series engine mounts & tdi radiator. Also half of the fan will be below the radiator and ineffective. If you've used the series rad there's more room but it'll still be low down. I've put an electric fan in front of the rad and never had to used it. I've put an electric fan in front of the rad and never had to used it. Russ I have a BMW 740 pusher electric fan on mine, but it runs so cool that I don't ever have to turn it on...
