istruggle2gate11 Posted August 28, 2008 Share Posted August 28, 2008 Contemplating reverting back to a manual box, I have a 101 LT95 sat around doing nothing, and will probalbly use........ I have never liked the vacuum method of engaging centre diff lock, and I have seen it fail more than a few times, but I have seen in the distant past some people converting them to a mechanical lever method...... Steve Hiatt Posted August 28, 2008 Share Posted August 28, 2008 My old Rangy is converted, but it's been a while since I looked at it. As I remember, remove the vacuum bit and there is a shaft, fix a lever, similar to Hi/Lo, pivoting from the bottom. It's fairly basic and works well.
