Dicovery 1 - problem with central locking

Recommended Posts

My 300 TDI is a bit strange, as it does not have a fob - land rover say it was made that way.

The problem is when I unlock the driver’s door with the key the passenger door unlocks.

When I lock the driver’s door with the key the passenger door stays unlocked.

I was told that it needs adjustment - not a new solenoid.

Does any one know how and where to adjust this?

Some of them (mainly export spec) have central locking with no fob - my Dad has one like this, a late 1998 model. I don't know the answer re adjustment but maybe if you take the padding off for a look you might be able to see what is happening - it could just be something a bit sticky that needs a bit of WD40
