Water pump repair

Recommended Posts

Hello All

I had water `peeing` from the hole underneath the water pump on my 86 110 so removed and dismantled it by pulling off the impeller and pushing out the shaft. The seal next to the impeller is `goosed` but everthing else is OK.

Does anyone know if the seal is available separately and where from please. Thanks !

Cheers,

Chic.

According to LR the waterpump is a non serviceable item.

As Les says, they're not expensive so I would replace the whole lot. worth it for the piece of mind that come with it.

If you could just replace the seal you have no guarantee that the cause of the seal failure wont lunch the new seal in double quick time either....
