sparg
Hi, without the front spat/wheelarch on a newish 90, there's a gap between inner and outer wings. I've found this out after a recent inadvertent body modification. I need to fit a new outer. But, my question is - is there likely to be a water ingress problem until I've fixed it? - wiring for lights, hooter, etc anything else? Also, those little plastic poppers that hold the spat in place - when ordering them - what are they called?. Finally, the plastic spat has actually torn just those innermost holes that fasten to the inner. Suggestions? new spat or can be repaired? yellow
I refitted the spats by drilling some pilot holes and using self-tapping screws. Simple and fast. As for water ingress... I drove without the spats for a month or two this summer. Had no issues...
Guest diesel_jim
You'll get water spray up inside the wing though, and obviously onto the back of the lights.
western
plus the tyre tread won't be covered & is therefore illegal on UK roads.

western
when viewed from directly above the tread width should be covered by bodywork or wheel arch.
