Hi All,

Last week in Sunny Doncaster LPG was 29.9p at two places 34.9p at another, now they are all 39.9p has it gone up elsewhere or is this some more tax from our beloved money grabbing git at 11 Downing St.

Regards keith

Yes, generally it has gone up nearly everywhere, my nearest filling station with LPG is a Shell garage 4 miles away. It doesn't doesn't have any competition for about 15 miles and it charges 45p per litre!

Not in France it hasn't :D although from what I understand the price here wasn't subsidized in the first place. Best prices are [were last time I looked — now looking forward to rejoining the cheap motoring fraternity :D ] in the region of 55-60 Euro cents / litre.

A week or so ago Morrisons in Eccles, Manchester went from 35.9-39.9. A year ago it was 29.9 there!

The two places near work went from 39.9-42.9.

Petrol and diesel seem to have stayed the same, so I wonder whether gas is subsidising those two...?

Both petrol and diesel have gone up by LOADS in the last couple of years. AFAIK, and I don't use it, the price of LPG road fuel has stayed static for years. Has done where I have lived anyway.

Near me in Sussex LPG has never been under 39.9pence per litre. during the last 3 years. Most of my local outlets are now in range 42 pence to 44.5 pence per litre.

Calor put my bulk prices up by 3p/litre due to a 'fuel surcharge' which they have said they will be removing when the market allows.... ie never....

Cheers

Pete
