willfromsussex
what colour should the seat base metalwork be (1970s rrc) is it coloured to match the upholstery (tan colour for instance) or was it dependant on the exterior colour of the vehicle? Thanks.
ThreeSheds
I used to work for TI Cox in the late 70's where they made Range Rover seats and seat bases and I only recall the paint-plant doing two options - black and a sort of fawn/grey colour. IIRC all of the Range Rover metalwork was the fawn. In the absence of any more definitive evidence, I hope this helps. Roger
nytrowrush
I've recently replaced the seats in my 1976 classic and the subframes that came out matched the Vinal colour on the lower part of the seats, a kind of tan colour. Hope that helps Chris
