bm52
hi, this is my first question to this forum..... my 90 is running on original props [pretty certain!] 2 of the UJs feel like they are on the way out and it is missing one of the nipples on the rear sliding joint. it has just started to give a vibration at approx 40ish and when the drive is taken up it has started to make a horrible noise........ assuming the props are really old and i want to keep the 90 for a long time in thought i would get 2 new ones. the question is do you recommend: 1. Britpart from Paddocks or similar 2. Bearmach? 3. GKN originals at the moment i am leaning towards Bearmach, from memory they are about £105 and £125. you recommendations would be most appreciated. cheers. bm52
FridgeFreezer
Originals every time, or The Propshaft Clinic. I have never had anything from Britpart that has been fit for purpose.
paul stage1v8
Someone on another forum just bought Britparts and they were marked with GKN markings, so might be worth checking a bit further

jcwcooper
as above check that the britpart ones are made by GKN and then buy one if they are. Dave.
FridgeFreezer
The problem with britpart is they buy whatever's cheapest today - one day you might get lucky and get a GKN part, another day you'll get something made from recycled bean tins.
