tommac Posted October 10, 2008 Share Posted October 10, 2008 Hi all, Driving the truck last night (300tdi 90) clutch down to go to 4th- wouldnt come back up- pulled pedal up and now rock hard- i take it the clutch arm has given up! So have ordered new arm, clutch kit etc and going to change tomo- also have a disco transfer box to go into truck- any tips/advice on changing the clutch!? tommac Posted October 13, 2008 Author Share Posted October 13, 2008 Tanks for the replys guys- did the job over the weekend- went well- took most of saturday and couple hours yesterday to finish off! All went together well- had to wind the box back on which i didnt like but all ok- also hanged the rear crank oil seal whilst we were in there....it was weeping! So a big thaks for the useful write ups! Tom PS new transfer box fitted also- 1.2 ratio- waht a difference....much improved on the open road!
