Les Henson
Does the axle travel the same path on a leafer as opposed to a coiler? I notice that leafers have a vertical shocker, whereas the coiler has them at an angle. As I'm using defender shock mounts on a parabolic leafer, can I mount them vertically, one angled each way, or both forward, or what? I think a coiler has a more distictive arc than a leafer, which seems to be almost vertical. Les.
FridgeFreezer
Coiler ones travel in an arc defined by the control arms, so the front pivots around the hockey sticks, the back goes with the A-frame & trailing arms. Series are defined by the leaves, so as the spring compresses, the axle moves back and vice-versa. LWB's have angled rear shocks anyway. Which coiler mounts are you using? Les Henson
I'm using the bolt on mounts as found on 90's etc. The lower mount I will fabricate myself, so can be in any position relative to a center line of the axle.
