So, you've still got to replace the starter? How much else does it need before it's ready for an MOT?
Exmoor Beast
How much else does it need before it's ready for an MOT? I think the brakes could do with a look at, they pull up straight, just not very well! then again it is a S3 so maybe shouldn't expect too much. Little bit of welding in the very bottom of the bulkhead/footwell. I haven't checked through all the bushes etc yet. All the lights work, tyres in fine condition as well. Steering seems pretty light and positive which can't be right surely! Looking good so far... I will try and take some more pictures tomorrow. The brakes should work just fine. They may be drum brakes but drum brakes work just fine and, if in good condition, should be as good as or even better than discs. A good clean, gentle rub with wet'n'dry and adjusting should see them fine. Chris
