Mo Murphy
Oil coats the metal around the bell housing drain hole. This is going to be an effing engine out job isn't it ? Mo

Got to be either engine crankshaft oil seal, or gearbox oil seal. Unless it's a cracked engine block, or gearbox case! Then you'd be really angry I had a cracked gearbox casing once, on one of my previous motors. That was very annoying!

Mo Could be from the sump to block joint & the oil is blowing backwards while driving, just a thought
white90
firstly check it is oil my slave cylinder failed and leaked into the bellhousing then x2 rear crank seals under warranty oil leak appears again nothing bad just a small amount, if I leave the wading plug in for ages no oil of any note appears when the plug is removed. unless it is pouring out I would just ignore it.
